Good Morning!
You’ll have to forgive me. I’m a bit confused. If I remember correctly the saying says something like, “April showers bring May flowers” … Hmmm … something is amiss. It rained yesterday. It’s supposed to rain today … and tomorrow … and the next day. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the calendar says we’re nearing the end of May … Memorial Day weekend … unofficial beginning of summer? And last time I checked, I think I lived in sunny northern California … Central Valley to be exact. Go figure.
Well, I’m happy to report that we don’t have any “rain” on our Bingo game … at least not today!
As a matter of fact, we’re having a party … a Birthday Party of sorts.
As many of you know, here at The Quilt Shoppe, we’re a mom/daughter team … me (Lani) and Amanda! Tomorrow is is Amanda’s birthday and she wants to share it with you. It's certainly no tea party when you've only got one word after 3 days (and none for hte last two). Heavy sigh. But on the bright side, it's sunny and hot here in Maryland.
A few weeks go I attended a Fashions & More "Tea Party" that was hosted by the local ASG...I even got to enter a quilt for judging which won best in it's class.

Happy Birthday Amanda! It was so funny - when you said you and she ran the shop together and I see the picture of the little girl. I thought, okay. Then I saw her wedding picture :) I should know I love showing off pictures of my boys when they were younger so you can see how much they have grown and mine are only 9 and 5.
