She's a Little Bit Country ...

This lovely woman that graced our television sets so many years ago, has taken the quilting world by storm. Now, granted, as cute as she was, we know our eyes were all on Donny :)

Over the past decade we've seen Marie in a whole new way, that of a crafter, designing a collection of stunning dolls. But that's not where it ends. A few years ago she began designing fabric for Quilting Treasures.
This October we had the privilege of meeting with Marie at Quilt Market, where she introduced her new fabrics along with her promotion of her new sewing machine with Janome and her new collection of Advantus quilters storage accessories . What a delight it was to spend a few minutes talking with her. And, yes, she really does quilt! The picture below is a quilt she made just a few days before market.

Marie's newest collection, Blanc et Noir "Fashion," has just arrived at The Quilt Shoppe. Featured in the quilt above made by Marie, this new collection is a sophisticated group with a downtown flair. Geometrics combined with florals in black, white and a pop of fuchsia, this 12-piece collection is perfect for contemporary quilts, totes and accessories. To add a little variety, pair it up with fabrics from the original Blanc et Noir collection.

TQS Exclusive! We've put together charm packs and bundles of this newest collection. Each charm pack includes 36 -5" squares (3 of each pattern in the collection.) Bundles include 12 fat quarters.

The quilt shown below is a free pattern available from Quilting Treasures (it's also the quilt behind Marie in the picture of the two of us.) Click on the quilt below to download the free pattern.

The Marie Osmond Quilt Challenge starts now!! Make a quilt using Marie's fabrics and get a chance to win a prize package including a Janome sewing machine, Quilting Treasures fabrics, Advantus storage accessories and much more!

Well, she sure is one busy lady! But then so are you! All the new collections are looking scrumptious. This is not a nice thing to do to a fabriholic. Once I get my stash down to half a roomful, I'm going to be in big trouble!
Have a very happy and peaceful holiday,

Pat
