Holly Jolly Blog Bingo … Day Four

Yikes!  It’s Monday morning!  Nothing like getting up two hours before the crack of dawn and getting nothing done.  I have to play “mommy” here in a few and get my little guy off to school, so we better get busy and give away some goodies and bring on a few new words.  Hope everyone has an awesome Monday :)

SUNDAY’S WINNERS …

Wow!  You are an incredibly creative bunch!  I had a really hard time with this one, so what do we do when we can’t make up our minds?  Call in the kids.  I had them go through your entries and pick no less than 5 and no more than 10 of their favorites.  They came up with 8.  For your enjoyment, here they are (in no particular order) …

Christmas is coming.
There’s so much to do.
A practiced drum starts drumming.
As the Hallelujah Chorus begins on que.

Though caroling is heard.
There’s not a snowflake in sight.
The toys will be delivered.
By eight reindeer tonight.

With a cup of hot chocolate,
And a twinkle in his eye,
Santa readies himself for he is the pilot.
And off he goes with a quick goodbye.

TOYS bring joy,
and if it's a DRUM it will be even more fun..
Susie wants SNOWFLAKES to fill the sky
while CAROLING with HOT CHOCOLATE hoping to stay warm and dry!
REINDEER are sweet
and santa is neat
But let me Repeat
Christmas is best with a baby in it!
So stand and Praise the Father above
Christmas is all about His wonderful love!
In Just a few more days,
we'll be singing the HALLELUJAH CHORUS
Cause when The baby Jesus was born,
He is the greatest gift sent just for US!!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!

It's two weeks before Christmas
The REINDEER are fed
The TOYS in their boxes
I'm CAROLING in my head

The HALLELUJAH CHORUS is playing
and fills up the room
While a tiny white SNOWFLAKE
falls outside in the gloom

I'm drinking HOT CHOCOLATE
My home tight as a DRUM
Soon will be Christmas morning
Hallelujah! I hum...

It’s quite the Christmas thing …
The Hallelujah Chorus …
how it moves me when they sing.

It warms my heart like Hot Chocolate
It makes me feel so festive
It fills me up with Christmas cheer,
Like Santa and his eight reindeer
With precious toys
For girls and boys

A snowflake settles on my nose,
I hear a distant drum,
It reminds me why we celebrate ….
Our Sweet Saviour has come!!!

On the first day of Christmas, In Stitches gave to me...a SNOWFLAKE in a Christmas tree.
On the second day of Christmas, In Stitches gave to me...two REINDEER and a SNOWFLAKE in a Christmas tree.
On the third day of Christmas, In Stitches gave to me...three TOY DRUMS, two REINDEER, and a SNOWFLAKE in a Christmas tree.
On the fourth day of Christmas, In Stitches gave to me...four quilters CAROLING, three TOY DRUMS, two REINDEER, and a SNOWFLAKE in a Christmas tree.
On the fifth day of Christmas, In Stitches gave to me...piping HOT CHOCOLAAATE! Four quilters CAROLING, three TOY DRUMS, two REINDEER, and a SNOWFLAKE in a Christmas tree."
...And on the last day of Christmas, I was singing the HALLELUJAH CHORUS after winning Holly Jolly Bingo!

O! say can you see reindeer caroling by me,
Hallelujah chorus sings for the toys Santa brings,
Whose broad waist and red hat beckons us to be fat,
O'er marshmallows smores and the friends we adore?
And the hot chocolate grins, the drums banging like tins,
Gave proof through the night that our faith is still here;
O! say does that bright Christmas tree

Then comes the drummer boy playing his drum
Next are the reindeer caroling in loud voices
All the verses of the Hallelujah Chorus
Santa then comes and delivers all the toys
