Good morning/afternoon! My apologies for my tardiness … I lost my way wandering around blogland viewing all the amazing posts of everyone’s Christmas. It’s been especially fun seeing all the pictures of the “White Christmas” that the East Coast had. I realize for many, snow is not a big deal, but for little ole’ me here in Central California, it would take a rather major miracle for snow to fall at any time of the year, let alone on Christmas.
Everyone has their dream vacation which usually includes a trip to Hawaii, or somewhere in Europe, maybe an exotic island, but not me. My dream vacation is to be stuck (yes, stuck) with my family in a cabin with big windows in the mountains with the snow falling. Of course, we NEVER lose electricity, and the fire is constantly burning. I have stitching to do, books to read, board games to play, puzzles to assemble …. ahhhh, that’s the perfect vacation. But we can only be stuck for 3 days … 4 days max.
Okay … back to reality. Let’s see if today will bring us a bingo winner!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and was able to have family spend the day. We will be celebrating this afternoon with our family.
I am still knocking out words very slowly but my holidays still had some 'sparkle' in them. I wish all those of German heritage a happy "Yuletide".

I think three or four days in that cabin under the same circumstances sounds pretty good to me. Then....let me come home to some warm, sunny days again.
No words today, but plenty of snow falling right now. We are under a blizzard warning with 12 - 18 inches expected before this storm ends sometime Monday afternoon. While we still have power, I'm going to use my machine to create more blocks!

You are not alone in the cabin in the woods with the snow. I live where there is snow in the winter Ontario and still love it. I could not live where I don`t have all 4 seasons each one is truly specatular
